What is Context?

Context is a friendly convention focused on speculative fiction literature and related games, comics and films.

If you enjoy manga, anime, science fiction, fantasy, or horror, you'll find plenty to entertain you at this convention.

The Science and the Future Symposium will feature talks and presentations by a variety of scientists. In the past, the Symposium took place on Friday and Sunday, but this year, we're going to be offering science programming throughout the weekend.

The energy situation in the world today.

SUN 1:00pm    Playing with DNA and the Human Genome
In this interractive session, we'll tour the human and neandertal genomes,identify some genomic sequences specific to those attending, and translate everyone's names into genetic code.
