There will be several fun things for SF/gaming/anime fans to do in Columbus, Ohio this summer.

The huge Origins gaming convention is going on this week and weekend at the Greater Columbus Convention Center at 280 North High Street. Origins offers game demos, tournaments, casual play, a huge dealer's hall, an auction, an art show, seminars, and more.

In August, MatsuriCon will be taking place in Worthington, Ohio (a northern Columbus suburb). This small anime/manga con will feature an artist's gallery, a dance and masquerade, an AMV contest, and panels.
