What is Context?

Context is a friendly convention focused on speculative fiction literature and related games, comics and films.

If you enjoy manga, anime, science fiction, fantasy, or horror, you'll find plenty to entertain you at this convention.

Context will be held September 26-28, 2008 in Columbus, Ohio, at The Ramada Plaza Hotel & Conference Center.

Harry B. Warner Jr: 1922-2003



Prominent SF fan Harry B. Warner Jr. passed away at his home in Hagerstown, Maryland on Monday, February 17, 2003.

Warner, age 80, received the Hugo Award for Nonfiction in 1993 for "A Wealth of Fable: An Informal History of Science Fiction Fandom in the 1950s." He also won Hugo awards as favorite fan writer in 1969 and 1972 and received the First Fandom Hall of Fame Award in 1995.

He wrote thousands of letters to science fiction fanzines, science fiction fan histories and several short stories.
