WCBE , the radio station in Columbus that is owned by the Board of Education, has had its funding cut and is facing a cash crisis. It carries a lot of varied programming, including some SF radio programming. Stop by their web page and become a supporting member if you want ot help.

It looks like we will be having the Context Con Suite in a small meeting room and not in a suite. This will allow us more room for goodies and put the Con Suite next to some of our programming.

Some folks have reported trouble in making room reservations. The hotel says they have not heard of Context. We have found out why. Context is an activity of FANACO, Inc.. FANACO is the name on the contract and some folks put that in the records as the name of the event even though we told them the event name. Several times. The hotel promised to fix the problem & we stuck a post-it note on the reservations department monitor.
