Welcome to the Context 22 Webpage!
updated June 1, 2009
Context has been growing by leaps and bounds the last few years, and we plan to make Context an even bigger success in 2009.
This year, we're in a much bigger, much nicer venue, and we're raffling off a suite at the convention hotel!
We also have a special arrangement with the organizers of MatsuriCon, a fun anime convention that's happening Aug. 28-30, 2009 at the Holiday Inn, Worthington ... just a mile from Context!
So, SF/anime fans who want to double their fun that weekend can attend both cons for a lowered price. If you're a MatsuriCon attendee, you can also come to Context for $15 if you present your full-weekend badge at our registration. Conversely, you can get into MatsuriCon for $10 if you take your full-weekend Context badge to their registration table.
More exciting news about the opportunities for attending both Context and Matsuricon will be announced in coming months.
If you'd like to see what attendees have said about Context, please visit the Con Reports section of our blog.

Context Kudos
Here's what some of our author guests have had to say about Context:
"It was a fabulous convention. Mike Resnick characterized it as the Readercon of the Midwest, and that's bang on target. I've been to SF conventions with five times as many people there
with fewer actual readers. There was a great group of other writers present."
– Robert J. Sawyer on Context 12
"Context was one of my favorite cons in recent years. The
programming was interesting, the people on the panels (and in the
audiences) were fascinating, the attendance at programming was great,
and everything went off without a hitch. I'm going to recommend Context
to everybody I know."
– Connie Willis on Context 17
